Favorite Home Finds {July}

Announcement time…we are moving yet again.

I know I know, we just got here really. But we’re not going far! Before Covid, I lived in Hoboken, NJ for two years. Mitchell moved there for a bit as well before we decided to come home during the thick of Covid. We absolutely loved it there I had always wanted to live in NYC since I was a kid. We came here for the year and loved it. We loved our area, our little apartment, and being close to our friends. But our apartment has flaws, lots of them. Mostly the building (that’s NY living for you). When it started getting close to lease renewal time, we started weighing our options. My sister just moved out to Hoboken, our rent went up, we’re tired of walking up five flights of stairs, the list goes on! We found an apartment in Hoboken that we’re really excited about so we decided it was time to go back out there. I know people have a complex about the whole New Jersey’s not New York fight, but it really is the perfect spot for us. Being from a small town it gives us that homey feel while being one subway stop from the city.
