You asked, and I’ve answered!

Here are the questions you submitted for this week’s FAQ post and I’m having so much fun with them. Feel free to leave a comment below on what you think! Lets get started:

All the wedding questions

So many wedding questions! I promise I will share more when we get the photos back (I am checking everyday, ten times a day to see if they’re here yet). What was your favorite part of the wedding? This one is so hard because it really was a perfect day. It was just so nice to spend the whole day surrounded by our best friends and family, to finally be able to have our wedding. The way everything turned out was perfect! Most stressful part? Two months before the wedding I couldn’t sleep, every night I was awake until 3:00-4:00 thinking of all the things that needed to get done. But in the last couple of weeks I really felt like, everything that needs to get done will get done, and what doesn’t we can’t worry about. You just sort of let go towards the end. Most stressful was the things we said we would ‘DIY’ needing to get done in the last two weeks, I think we’re just not the DIY kind of people when it comes to weddings lol, it was too much. Something you wish you did in hindsight? There is very little that I would change about our day. The only thing that “went wrong” was that the wind was so strong that morning that it snapped our arbor before we got there. Luckily it didn’t happen during the ceremony! It really wasn’t a big deal and our ceremony was beautiful without it but I wish we had just invested in renting a sturdy wood one to decorate instead of the cheap one we did ourselves. More on the wedding to come!

Can we get an apartment tour?

If you haven’t read yet, we are moving! You can read more about our decision to do so here. I am so excited about our new place. It’s not crazy bigger than where we are now but it’s a little bigger, and way more updated. A real sized bathroom and laundry in unit, and a bedroom that's big enough for us to have bed side tables (can you tell out NY apartment is small?). I never did an apartment tour here because really only the living room is something I was able to decorate to its fullest and make it our own. The other rooms are small and set up the only way they can be. I am already planning all the videos I want to make in our new space when we get there in two weeks! So yes I will definitely do an apartment tour in the new place!

How’s the packing going?

We are surrounded by boxes at all times. It’s going well because we decided to get a jump on it early, but the problem is our place is so small that there’s nowhere to put the boxes, so we’re just surrounded by them. Counting down the days until they’re moved out!

Favorite luxury investment pieces?

So hard to pick! But I will give you a few. These Hermès Sandals are something I am actively saving for right now. These are a classic that are not going anywhere, and go with anything! These sandals from Hermès are a little trendier and not as classic as the Oran but I love them nonetheless, I wish I could get both! The designer bags I would invest in would be the Dior Saddle Bag, a Chloé Marcie Bag, or this Celine bag. To name a few! There are so many luxury items I think are worth the investment, do you guys want me to share more of what I would find worth the investment?

Favorite article of clothing?

Probably a white button down! I own several and wear them all the time in various ways. They’re a really great layering piece and a classic that you should have in your wardrobe.

Makeup Routine?

I am posting my full makeup routine soon so stay tuned!
