You Asked, I Answered
Last week I posted a bunch of different categories on my stories for you guys to ask questions about.
I am so excited that this seemed to resonate with everyone and will definitely continue to do these in the future! I am always looking for new ways to create the kind of content that you guys are looking to see so I hope you love reading these as much as I love putting them together. Lets get started:
Fashion
Q: Have you always been interested in fashion?
I would definitely say I have always been interested in fashion, whether or not it was always a great eye for fashion is definitely up for debate. I remember getting mini design kits for Christmas and I would spend so much time sketching out fashion designs and sewing little pieces for the mini mannequin that it came with to wear. I always loved putting outfits together (some of which are super cringeworthy looking back, but whose weren’t!).
Q: Wardrobe staple?
A good pair of jeans, white button down, a cute black dress, white sandals and a fun bag. You can add some really fun accessories to basics to make an outfit pop!
Q: Color of the summer?
For me I gravitate more toward neutrals so lots of white. But I also love all of the emerald and faded green pieces I’ve been seeing. I just ordered this emerald dress that I’m excited to have an excuse to wear.
Q: Thoughts on Tevas?
I put Tevas and Birkenstocks in the same category, and I think they can definitely go well with a loose fit denim and oversized T-shirt look like here and here. They’re great for casual summer looks.
Q: Favorite purse?
To be honest one of my favorite bags that I own is a bucket bag that I bought from Target a few years ago, I use it all the time. But some of my other favorites include my Staud Shirley Bag and a fun fringe crossbody that I bought on vacation in Greece.
Wedding
Q: When and Where??
This one is definitely the most popular one and hopefully I will have more answers for you soon! Because of Covid it has been a slow start to planning. But with the new phases starting we have a few appointments set up to see venues which we’re very excited about.
Q: Theme?
I definitely picture something more on the romantic and elegant side. Take a look at my vision board for a better idea of how I envision our big day.
Q: Do you know what you want your wedding dress to be?!
I have an idea of a style that I really like, but I haven’t tried any on yet so I can’t say for sure what I want. But I’m very excited to start that shopping process and share it with you!
Lifestyle
Q: What made you decide to get a dog?
We have always wanted a dog, and with both of us at home for the time being it seemed like the perfect time to devote to training a dog. You can read more about our little guy here.
Q: Any good summer skincare recs??
I am always switching up my skincare routine. For the summer I go much lighter with my makeup and make sure to use a face lotion with sunscreen in it.
