A New Season is Just Around the Corner
I love the changing of seasons no matter what time of year it is.
You get to switch up not only your wardrobe, but also the routine you’ve been in. A new season brings change, and you can always use a little bit of that in your life. This fall in particular I am so excited for all the new changes coming to my life. This fall will be one year since I started this blog, I can’t even believe it. It still feels like I just started and I’m still learning the ropes, and I know I will be for quite some time, but how exciting is that?! My photographer Leah and I keep saying at each shoot, “this one’s definitely our best one yet”. And next thing you know, we’ve done a new one that we think completely tops the next.

We were getting ready to shoot this look and I was wearing a completely different blazer, one that we had shot with before. We ran into H&M to look for something and I saw this checked blazer and had to try it on. I loved it. We decided I should get this one for the shoot (or at least that’s how I justified it) and I’m so glad I did because it turned out amazing.
I’ve been in a rut creatively and this shoot really helped that. I love creating content that you guys will love but also that goes with my creative vision. It’s like an artistic puzzle to me, and something I want to work harder at. I challenge you, and myself, to switch things up in this upcoming season. It can be as small as switching up the way you walk to work every morning, or as big as chopping your hair a new style. Get out of your rut, get creative and enjoy this new season!
