Spring into Summer

The temperature is rising, the sun is shining, and summer is on the horizon.

I grabbed this dress in February when Zara started launching their Spring collections. I immediately fell in love and knew it would be the perfect dress to pack for one of my trips this summer. Its light weight, bold color and fun pattern make you feel instantly confident. In my opinion, dresses are summer staples. So I try to grab as many as I can early on so I’m fully stocked for the summer.

I know not everyone feels comfortable in bold prints or long dresses, but trust me this one is worth it. If the color and style aren’t enough, its comfort is next level. I walked around shopping all day before going to shoot and was just as comfortable in this as I am in my everyday jeans and tee look. I buy dresses for walking around in the summer and ease of outfit preparation and this one checks all those boxes.

I styled this dress with my favorite bucket bag from Who What Wear at Target, my new favorite sandals from Soludos, and these Ray Ban dupes from PacSun. With a dress this bold, it’s important to keep the accessories minimal and let the dress speak for itself. I also want to try pairing this with darker accessories like black sandals or a black clutch. The possibilities are endless with this piece.

I can’t express enough how happy I was in this outfit and with the way this shoot turned out. If nothing else, I realized how confident I feel in something a little bit different, but really fun. I’m ready to try new styles this summer and can’t wait to show you.
