My Favorite Affordable Brands
Being a college student, this topic is always on my mind.
I try to be conscious of what I’m buying. Will I like this in a few months? Is it too trendy? Is it too expensive for what it is? I ask myself these three question when I’m considering buying something. I tend to gravitate more towards a minimal style, but every now and then, something trendy catches my eye. If it’s affordable, I’ll let myself buy it and wear it for as long as it’s in style. If it’s a little more than I’m looking to spend, it’s not something I splurge on because I know that I will be over the trend in a year and will wish I’d spent my money on a timeless piece.
As well as being conscious of what I’m buying, I’m also aware of where I’m shopping. It can be so discouraging to go shopping somewhere and fall in love with the clothes but not be able to afford them. Here are a few of my favorite place to shop on a budget and my favorite pieces of theirs at the moment.
1. TARGET
I LOVE Target. Like actually obsessed. The Who What Wear line at Target is my absolute favorite! They release a new line every month or so exclusively at Target. I’m also a big fan of the A New Day line at Target. These are some of my favorite Target finds right now (click each photo to shop):
2. H&M
H&M is another great place to get some good basics. They have all of the classic looks I want at super affordable prices.
3. ASOS
Asos is another great place to shop affordably. All online so as long as you don’t mind waiting for your clothes, this is the perfect place to find new pieces! They also offer a student discount which is always nice.
4. Unpublished Denim
Unpublished denim is a great place to look for affordable denim. Jeans can be more expensive than a lot of other pieces, so finding affordable denim can be tough. Unpublished is so comfortable, they don’t even feel like jeans.
